I just upgraded from a 32in to his monitor and really enjoy it, it is big of course so whether that's too big or not to enjoy is subjective imo. It feels like the seize (height) of the 32in but in ultrawide form and it did not affect me playing competitive.

Screen is amazing and curve is just fine for almost all use cases. You can search for discussions on this in other posts tracking prior deals on this monitor.

I got the 40 inch samsung with 1000r and wish it was even more curved, way less prominent than I expected and it's very useful, the sideview/peripheral feel more clear and like the middle/direct view. Idk the terminology, I thought the curve would be most prominent towards the sides, but the sides are basically flat monitors and it curves as it goes inwards. Opposite of what I expected and why I dwas wary of them before I used it. like the middle is the most curved part, not the most flat, and it works well. It somehow seems more flat than flat at the larger size the way it looks in person.

Still too big, I can't have an ultra wide bigger than 2" and I need a more aggressive curve of 50r

For the love of God. If you buy LG products like monitors and soundbars get it from Costco. My ultragear 39 240hz oled started artifacting on the entire right half of the screen. Split right down the center. LG said to RMA it and sent it back to me with no repairs! Then said I can't get a replacement because they never tried to fix it!

I had gone on vacation for a week and when I got back it had been delivered. (My buddy was coming by to feed the cat so he brought it in.)

It was okay to send it in because I was on vacation anyway but if I send it AGAIN it will affect my productivity. Costco doesnt have the same one in stock anymore so im waiting for a good deal on one I want to exchange. (Life time return policy on monitors)

The 2026 39" is going to be 1500r I believe. Not much of a curve at all. I prefer the 800r on the 2025 45".

man this looks fun to game on, althought the idea of playing non-compatible games in 16:9 format is kinda sad, but given its oled itll be ilke playing on a regular monitor I guess?

Currently own the 3440p version of this monitor for about a year, love it, I even work 8 hours a day on it. Wonder how much fps loss i would get by upgrading to this on a 5080
