"In order to have AI bird recognition you must pay not one, but two different monthly fees! First you pay for the "basic cloud service" and then you pay for AI on top of that! Even the included free trial for the AI service is not free at all, because in order to take advantage of it you must first pay for the basic cloud service subscription!!! Unbelievable!!!"
Pros:
good hardware quality of bird feeder
concept wise , it works.
32 GB micro SD card (BF08 model)
Cons:
very basic/average picture and video quality.
overall slow response to access images/video using the app over WiFi.
(Note - it works with only 2.4 GHz WiFi networks)
Catch:
if you need Cloud Storage it needs paid subscription fees...
(unless limited 3 days rolling storage service)
Bird ID needs additional subscription fees...
for basic expectations - worth trying.
