When I was young, I just used a single regular Frisbee on a nearby course and still had tons of fun. Even a set like this probably would have been nice.

I'm completely new to this sport - are there actual courses? Do they just use golf courses?

One of the courses I play on is in the White mountains show low Arizona. It is a 9-hole course that is literally built on the side of a mountain and the course elevation from beginning to the top of it is over 100 feet from the beginning tea box

Trash product planted by a competitor (pga) to disc golf to make disc golf appear stupid to anyone from golf that tries it out

Devious. Makes sense since this brand is actually capable of making okay products. I think some ski manufacturers did the same thing when snowboards were gaining popularity.

They just use regular golf courses. When golf courses aerate, since regular golfers can't use the green, they'll invite disc golfers for revenue. It's a second-tier sport that will never gain recognition like regular golf.

This post could'nt be more ignorant. (sorry for the hyperbole). Disc golf courses are usually standalone courses completely separate from golf courses. And unlike golf, the barrier to entry is extremely low. Many if not, most courses are free, discs are cheap, and you can get nearly as much enjoyment if you suck compared to a seasoned pro
