I chatted with an online service agent. She told me that E30 needs HB3 to do 24/7 recording. Even if you put in a micro sd, it will prompt you a msg when the sd card is full. So it will not record any more. Anyone can confirm?

This has to be incorrect, any basic system comes with NVR/DVR overwrite when the storage is full. That's a default setting.

Would these be better than 3 Costco S3 which are S340? E30 offers 24/7 monitoring if plugged in

S340 has tracking with handoff from cam to cam, dual cameras (great zoom function)... maybe some other differences as well (?)

The main reason for me to leave ring ecosystem is a subscription. You dont need a subscription with eufy as you can record locally.

I would say so. I have the eufy doorbell, door lock and security cameras and so far no problem. Have used them for about 2 years now. The cams needs to be charged every 9 months or so, but that's acceptable for me. I assume since these have solar, won't need to charge if put at the right spot
