Just bought this a month ago for $420. Does ebay/Acer price match? Or do I need to buy this and return the other one?

I bought one of these last time they popped up on here. Had a dead battery that wouldn't charge and wasn't super quiet but it seemed like a very well built little laptop other than that. Acer was easy to deal with on the return. If you need a 14" laptop this is probably hard to beat at ~$400 assuming you get a good one.

You'll probabky have to return it. You can contact the seller and there are partial refund options built into eBay (I've sold on eBay for over 10 years) but I've never seen a larger store based seller use that method, just returns.

I'd definitely give it a try however. Acer support may be receptive if you provide your old order number, and demonstrate the new price.

As to this deal, it's a good price for well rounded specs. Not a killer deal like that briefly available Omnibook X 14" Ryzen AI 7 350 / 24GB RAM / 1TB SSD at Best Buy for $340, but deals like that are rare and must be jumped on quickly.

Love to see Thunderbolt... Should be the norm nowadays.

Especially with eGPUs being so prevalent nowadays.

Interestingly the price has gone from $420 to $400 to $371 over the last 24 hours.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank xcopy

Looks great, but pay attention to the missing Right ctrl key. It's default functionality is now Copilot AI, which is total crap if you're a touch typist, and/or left handed.

MS paid Dell, Acer, etc to destroy the keyboard and promote CoPilot, so check and see if you can remap the key back to Ctrl with MS PowerToys. I was able to do it on a new Dell, but apparently not every company/computer works the same way and many have had trouble.

The price appears to be quite competitive for these specifications. Are there any concerns I should be aware of before purchasing this laptop?

I just bought one, delivery shcheduled for January 12th. I figured I could always return it, but buyer responsible for return postage, so I hope I like it. I was watching a couple others that either went out of stock, or the price increased, which pushed me over the edge.

The listing says "Seller pays return shipping". 2-yr warranty (through Allstate), specs, and build quality (mostly aluminum) are hard to find at this price point. Great deal if the unit comes in like-new condition and zero issue.

Thanks, I read it incorrectly, so this makes me feel better.

Lots and lots of Acer refurbs lately, this is the 3rd or 4th deal that I have noticed in the last month or so. Makes me curious as to why so many, unless Acer has been stockpiling them for some reason....

THAT being said, I have purchased a refurb Asus Nitro from ebay store before and no issues.

Bought one last time. Arrived with a dead battery. Over the laptop was heavy and felt like a tank. I didn't like the build. Return was easy but took over a month to get my money refunded. I have better luck with Best Buy open boxes.

I just bought this for my skinny 10 year old nephew, who hasn't even hit 70 pounds yet, and he's been running all over the house with it.

Maybe buy a weight set?

This was $380 over Black Friday after the 20% promo coupon ebay ran. Originally they posted it at $380, minus the 20% came out to $304. Got one, Acer cancelled my order because they wanted a bigger cut of the promo. They raised it to be $475 so it came out to $380 after the 20% coupon.
