I have never heard of this brand, but I just wasted my current shop vac so I am considering this unit.

It might be a good deal and maybe a good brand, but I would caution against getting anything bigger than a 5 gallon for a shop vac unless you really need it. Water weighs 8 pounds per gallon, so if you fill this up, that's 80 pounds and not something you are going to be carrying around to empty. 5 gallons worth of dry debris is quite a lot and usually way more than needed. The 10 gallon shop vacs just take up more room, are harder to maneuver, and will probably never be more than half full. Maybe if you are a contractor it might make sense. Otherwise, the 5 gallon is the better option IMO.

I have the 12 gallon version of this. Bought it 7 years ago and it's been outside for past 8 months under heat and rain. Still working well. There is a detachable blower (still corded though) that is useful if you don't have a separate blower.

I do agree with another poster that it is pretty big. I have a separate dust collection attached to it, so it never really gets filled up.

I had this exact vacmaster like 10 years ago. Did the job, it's a vacuum. Dry/wet worked fine, but I never really "put it through its paces". Just casual garage use, worked fine. Blower worked ok for blowing leaves and shit out of the driveway, would probably be terrible for leaves in the lawn though. Good vacuum for $40.
