I bought one from the same seller for the same price on thanksgiving. For very Good condition, the battery life was at 90%. The phone came in pristine condition, no scratches on the screen at all.

Not sure this is a good deal. $240 more gets you Apple refurbished which has new battery, no scratches, Apple warranty

Agreed. I traded in my 15 pro (which I loved) for a 17 pro. The battery was good at first on the 15p but towards the end didn't last a day. 17p is much longer. I'd be worried about getting one with a well used battery and not getting the expected battery life.

Buying from swappa is better. Authorized trusted swappa sellers list the battery life in their listings which is helpful, and Its almost same price for excellent condition iPhone 15 pro max with battery life listed in 95-99% range, whereas with ebay sellers its a hit or miss and consider lucky if they ship you one with more than 90% battery life.

Amazon refurbished if you watch prices usually better. There have full year warranty.
