These are fun, but realize that the picture you see is 20 sets of 100. Don't buy them unless you are committing to 5-10 sets.

So I have always seen these but never in real life. Are these full on plastic blocks, or are they more like a less durable paper box with magnets in side?Are they rigid and durable? Thanks

See the red brick pieces? Those alone you can clearly count 53 blocks.

I wish amazon would Crack down on this misleading advertising.

Some are paper / cardboard, but this particular item says they're made of ABS (plastic).

I don't have this particular brand, but I do have a very similar plastic set that I got my kids for Christmas. I cannot recommend them at all. About 2 days after Christmas, one of the sides of the blocks cracked open, and the magnets (which are tiny cubes about 1 mm on each side) spilled out. My kids are thankfully old enough not to ingest the magnets, but definitely could be very dangerous for a smaller child (swallowed magnets can cause a lot of issues).

This brand is not good. The magnet is weak. I got the Magnetopia brand and it was good. As others have said, the pictures are misleading. You need several sets to build the castle in the pictures. Overall they are fun and good for math for young ones. I haven't had any issues with the brand I bought.

Like others said, you need about 6 or 7 sets to build good 3d things. My kid likes making 2d "Minecraft" scenes sort of like NES Mario and play in them. you only need 3 or 4 different sets to do that.
