It's so cold in winter right now and I found this magsafe car phone mount that allows me to securely attach my phone while not blocking the vents for heat! There is a swivel that moves your phone away from the vent, allowing you to enjoy warm heat or cool AC, depending on the season. Additionally, it's probably not good to have heat blowing and warming up my expensive iPhone...I hate getting messages that says my phone is too hot to use. Also, it raises the phone higher up so that it is more eye level so you can keep your eyes on the road with minimized distractions. I have it tightened just enough that I can still rotate the main body around yet remove the phone by tilting it back. This let's me place my phone in either portrait or landscape and the rotation effectively lifts and lowers the height for visibility. The overall lift above the vent is definitely appreciated for visibility and handling.
Based on product photos, mine has the lit ring much closer to the edge of the body. I think it looks better. Light turns off after a short while so not distracting.
