I have the Px7's (the previous gen) and for folks on the fence:

The build quality is great, the noise isolation is OK, the sound quality is good, and the set itself is very comfortable but your ears may get sweaty.

the Px8's here I assume are slightly better in every category.

I have these - love the green color. If they release the s2 in this color-way I'll be all over it.

I have the PX7 S2E, which has the same build as the PX7 S2 but with the advanced tuning of the PX8 - got them for about $230 like new via Amazon. So you get ~95-98% of the PX8 sound at ~60% of the PX8 price with the PX7 S2e.

Very happy with them, they destroy Sony & Bose in every category except noice canceling.

Meh, not really 95-98% of the sound. Comparing apples to oranges, Px7 uses bio-cellulose drivers, Px8 uses carbon drivers.

I have the brown version. I bought it for the construction of the headset. It's made of metal, which is really sturdy. It won't break like the plastic headsets like Sony. Although the Sony XM3 I had lasted very long. it only cracked last year. But what I didn't expect was that the leather of PX8 is very soft. Yes it feels really good on your ear but not sure how long the leather would last. It's definitely not the leather like the sofa or car seats.

Great headphones all around only con is the weight which I believe can be attributed to the 40hr battery life

Price tracker suggests it was $240 until today? Seems inaccurate.

Somehow I feel that my audio technica m50 from 12 years ago still sounds better, cleaner and crisper on lows and mids than any recent wireless headphones

Heard so many good things about the brand I have headphone fatigue right now between Beats Studio, AirPods Pro, and Sony 1000 series.

I'm comparing a Px7 S2e versus the Px8 (not S2) for $263 versus $388. I want the Px8 (of course) was is it worth it for a extra $125?

Not seeing that price, but the older ones are considerably a better bargain vs the Px8 S2 at $800.

Shame because I really like the Px8 S2 McLaren Edition, but that's even more at $900.
