I dont understand why they even make them so low. You should have something at least in the 2400 range with 3000+ preferred.

That is extremely low, laughably so for a name brand. 1,000 - 2,000 joules protection is needed even for low end electronics (bedside light, alarm clock), 3,000 - 4,000 for higher end electronics
Also, no clamping voltage listed so assume no protection there

im shocked dollar tree even has surge protectors. I doubt 900 though. maybe 90-200

That's 24 dollars you could have put towards a Tripp-Lite with surge protection-protection (aka auto shutoff at AC) and a lifetime warranty.

I never understood why there is no competitive surge protection to compete with TL, or why people buy these "disposable" surge protectors that leave them guessing and praying if they are actually doing their job.
