There are three bands: 2GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz. There is no Quad-Band WiFi. It is a marketing term for "wireless mesh" devices with less usable 5GHz bandwidth because they dedicate part of that band for "mesh" networking for that rare person who wants to buy two routers, the second of which is limited in speed to part of the 5GHz band.
This kind of product makes little sense to me. If you just want coverage have a lot of cheap mesh devices. If you want 6GHz speed you can't get it from a device that is limited to 5GHz for the "mesh backhaul."

I currently have ASUS - RT-BE92U https://www.bestbuy.com/product/a...JJGGLQGX7L that I'm not very happy with it. It glitches a lot and range is not so good. I have it restart every other night now. Is there a router you can recommend that has excellent range and stability? I don't even care about Wifi6, I can't use it anyway with my current router since my room is on second floor. I just want a really good fast and stable 5g Wifi. We have a 2 story 2000 foot house. Router is located in almost center of the house downstairs but all the bedrooms are upstairs so signal has to penetrate multiple walls and floors. Thanks.

I have 2 BE92U routers as a mesh (using ethernet cable) and have no stability or range issues. I did install Merlin firmware [asuswrt-merlin.net] (which is a variant of Asus firmware). Give it a try and maybe it will help. If not, you can always continue your search for a different router. BTW, I purchased these a used from Amazon Warehouse for $150 each (including taxes).

Tnx, I will give it a try. Our wifi gets used a ton, 5 kids with iPads, 4 TVs, 3 phones, 2 laptops. It's working overtime. I had it restart only on Sunday night and that wasn't enough. It would freeze at least once a week and I would have to manually restart it to get it working again.

After some reading on the web, I have turned off MLO (on the 1st day during the initial setup). No restarts other than my usual firmware update process (reboot, install the firmware, reboot).

Good luck.

Large discount. Price still obscene. It's $630 now, so I think the "deal" is dead anyway.

If you have to restart a lot it may be overheating. In that case I would prop it up so that it has plenty of airflow - perhaps even use a usb fan. Avoid placing it near appliances since metal can blog the signal.
To improve reliability and range you need to prevent signal interference. You can do that by using a WiFi 7 router with 6GHz support (since 2 and 5GHz can get interference from non-wifi devices). You can place your router where it is not close to large metal appliances (e.g. refrigerator) that can block the signal. And you can buy a device with a large number of high powered antennas. If you're advanced you can use a phone app to find channels in the WiFi bands that don't have much interference and set your device to use those.
If your problem is that you have too many devices or too many connections, it might be running out of memory tracking everything, so look for a device with a lot of RAM (1GiB or more).
Spec sheets don't always give full details on things like antenna range, but sometimes they kind-of tell you by saying a router is good for more square footage.
Regarding brands: advanced users tend to prefer Ubiquiti. Most home users go with Asus, Netgear, or TP-Link. If you are not having luck with Asus you might want to look into Netgear.
Best of luck!

Try posting to the subreddit r/homenetworking on www.reddit.com and seeing what advice you get. Others have reported issues with the BE92U router as well. The Merlin firmware sometimes helps the router work more reliably. Best of luck.
