Interesting, I think these kits are changing.

I remember buying this for $189, because it was cheaper than the $199 sale price, but my high torque kit came with 2x 4ah max output batteries in the zipper case, not one like this link does.

Yeah, I got that deal too, but that comes around like twice a year. This deal is more common

I bought their $229 brushless hammer drill with impact drive and got a free oscillating tool. I registered the LSA the day I received the tools. It took them weeks to review the LSA registration. They could not verify the receipt despite me uploading it. They did not notify me that they could not verify the receipt either. If I didn't check back within the 90 day window which I normally won't have if I am not notified of any problems. I had a hunch and checked back, low and behold, I only have 45 days left to correct the problem that they never reached out to me about.

If you guys are buying Rigid for the LSA, make sure you stay on top of it and check regularly until the LSA is approved. If you guys don't care about LSA, then buy a brand that does not rely on offering an LSA to sell tools.

Good to know. I have probably about 20 ridgid devices, batteries, tools, etc, all registered except for one that I picked up second hand and have never had a problem registering the tools or batteries but it is good practice like you stated to keep on top of things and ensure your items are in the system.
