When I finally went to install I realized SHIFT actually means > the cables are shifted to the side. I was able to do some modifications to my case to make it work, but if I had known I would have just gotten the non-shift version.

Sometimes Corsair will even use the same part number for different PSUs coming from different OEMs.
Please do your research before buying.
The connectors are moved to the side instead of being across from the power plug.
Might be tight in some/most applications.

Also, not seeing 12vhpwr cable for modern high end GPUs. OTOH 750w probably isn't enough for anything that needs it anyway. RTX 5070 and above the bare minimum is 750w and you should probably aim higher.

FYI this is how most manufacturing works. Ford doesn't directly create even 1/100 of the parts in any vehicle with their logo on it. NASA doesn't manufacture any space craft. Militaries don't manufacture any tanks or planes. All of it is done through contracts with dozens, hundreds, sometimes thousands of suppliers for a single product.
Corsair, in general, sells high quality units at whatever designated tier/price, and their warranty service is about as good as any company out there.
