Wish it were TNG for this price!

Upon checking Amazon, looks like TNG is 37% off for a total of $100.95

Price back up on Amazon but still the same at Walmart.

I think I'll wait for the 4K widescreen edition to be released.

No and it's unlikely. Almost no TV shows were even filmed for widescreen until the 2000's. The few they've released as widescreen, life Buffy the Vampire Slayer, are terrible, often revealing background sets, lights, rugs, etc and often fail at basic things like color correction, robbing scenes of their original impact. 4:3 framed shows almost never translate well to 16:9.

Good to know! I'm in for 1 from Walmart. I threw in a $2 two-pack of Sharpies to get my order to $35 to qualify for free shipping. Not bad at all!

I ordered mine same day. My account has same ETA. Checked at WM and they claim Jan 12 delivery. I'm not in a rush, so I can wait if it actually arrives. Hopefully Amazon won't cancel. I've had that happen before.
