It holds stuff, its $20. Less than 5% of people will ever need more than that.

Have this in my garage for light duty work. Small enough to swivel out of the way when not using it. Basically just another set of hands for holding parts. Small anvil area if you need to tap lightly on something. Not a heavy duty vice you can misuse as a press.

It's a nice little vice. As the metal worker I wouldn't like do any heavy pounding on it or stuff, but like the previous poster said, it's an extra set of hands. And it has grips for pipe. You can't go to harbor freight and get 20 bucks. I have vices that are four or five hundred dollars. So for twenty bucks, you can't beat it.

Same. Based off the comments here it's horrible. Looking at reviews it's solid cast iron and I don't see why it wouldn't be good for little things like a spare set of hands holding mower blades or to hold things to file or sand etc.

Bought mine in December 2017 for $26.

Works fine. Bought it originally to help build firearms and now it is my full-time vice in the garage for all sorts of whatever I'm doing to my car.

Literally zero reason to complain about this for $20.
