Paid double this for the bare tool on sale with some flappers. It's the best of the battery die grinders. Yes it's Ryobi. Yes it has a big battery on the butt of it. Sucker will hog material off and doesn't even get hot. Be safe with this thing,

Great deal. A month or two ago Home Depot had the same deal and same price and I bought 2 of them. They are excellent with carbide burrs and cutting discs but once a 2" wire wheel or grinder bit is used it becomes louder and creates a lot of vibration, so much that it sometimes causes the battery to fall out. I dont run this tool past the second speed setting with most fittings due to the noise and vibration.
