This has been an amazing controller - my favorite I've ever used.

That said, I've always had bad luck with used Razer peripherals from amazon... my computers have always seemed to act buggy when I've tried them (regardless of Synapse or not...)

Speaking from experience, this is hit or miss. I purchased one "like new" and the controller showed a bit more signs of wear but that was fine. The dong;e was not working and wouldn't update firmware. I will be returning that item. I ordered another "like new" and it has been working great.

Overall, this is a great deal but you may have to try and see… potentially return it.

This controller is fantastic. It is especially good for larger hands. The build quality is fantastic. The ergonomics are great. The controls are great.

Got this "like new" when this was posted a few weeks ago. I was changing from an Elite Series 1, which I loved. Once I got the sticks to the desired hight (had to add a ControlFreak extender I bought years ago to get one of the sticks to the hight I like) it is an improvement over my Elite 1. I don't use the paddles so I had to unassign them in the app because my palms kept hitting them, but that took just a moment to do. The mouse click triggers were what I was after due to playing COD almost exclusively. For $80, it was like new and has been rock solid for the last month. I would definitely buy again at this price. At retail, probably not. The only real complaint is that it doesn't include two of the same height stick extenders, but that is due to my personal preference and many people probably wouldn't care.

I have a love hate with this controller. I bought on a similar deal. Controller itself is tremendous but the battery life isnt great and the charging cable included is a bit low quality. Mic is a bit buggy too. Might just be the one I got or is just typical Razer quality. That being said id probably buy again at $80.

Agree on every point. Better than the elite in every way, IMO.

I wish they made a wireless version of the Wolverine Ultimate. IMO, that one is even better for people who have large hands. I have Paul Gilbert type of fingers, and this one was still made my fingers feel scrunched.

Agreed on battery life. Returned mine and got the powerA fusion pro wireless controller for Xbox & PC for around this price refurbished - very happy with it. Similar build quality, double the battery, and the lumectra RGB effects are cool.

Ordered it a few weeks ago. Got a cheap broken controller in the wolverine box. Tried to tell Amazon customer service but they just had me send it back. Guessing someone else will now get that same controller. Good luck y'all

Don't buy this, even new. I've had it for over TWO years and it disconnects all the time if rumble is turned on. The software is horrible, and it constantly tries to install audio drivers. I had to disable the audio in settings when it pops up. Please avoid this controller at all costs. I use it daily, buttons are tactile and feel amazing, but the software is garbage.

This is not bad luck. Nothing is wrong with you or Amazon. That's just Razer being Razer.

If you can get a good unit, you *might* be fine, but you may have to resign yourself to playing a few rounds of Quality Control roulette.

I've been using an Elite Series 2 for a couple of years, around 3hrs/day. The size and controls work well for me, but I've noticed the top buttons are less responsive, sometimes requiring more than one hit. What lifespan are you guys getting out of the various brands? Only considering wireless due to my setup.
