I like these for the nitro gimmick and this is much better per can than you'll find at gas stations/convenience stores or even grocery stores, but I don't think these are good enough to justify $2+ per can.

Found these acidic and a little foul. Some things you need to get the real thing, IMO.

Yeah this price is crazy.
Bust out one of your old mason jars, get a brew tube ( Altura The TUBE Cold Brew Coffee Maker and Tea Infuser for Wide Mouth Mason Jars - Stainless Steel Cold Brew Filter Strainer for Iced Coffee, Fruit Water & More - (32oz/1qt) https://a.co/d/6TMYfDw ) , throw in as much coffee as you want, and always have cold brew in the fridge at a fraction of the price…..

100%. But don't steep the coffee for more than maybe 2 days, or it gets pretty bitter and sludgy tasting.

I also bought a whipped cream dispenser (uses NO2 cartridges), and bought N2 cartridges for it. Fill it up with cold brew, shake, and instant nitro cold brew that costs about $.50/cup.

That's actually a great idea. Could you give a link to that whipped cream dispenser and the cartridges?

There are so many options, but this specifically is the one I bought:

And I bought a 30-ct pack of N2 cartridges from a company named "ico", as a trial run. But I'll be buying in massive bulk next to bring the cost way down.

They drop to about $.70/per when you buy bulk.

You got it! Hope it works for ya. Make sure to do a quick YouTube to make sure you're doing it right. Fill line, shake, let it rest, etc. Easy, but important.

I agree and I can't believe they sell canned iced coffee for so much.

Love these, but as mentioned SBUX made them too expensive.

They started at $1/can and food hasn't gone through the inflation cars and parts of high tech have.

Can't support this with $4 Panera club and mug tech getting good enough to opt out.

Kind of foolish take, man. I'm not saying this is worth it, but you are describing something completely different. You still need a tap and a tank of nitrogen after making the cold brew to produce this.

That is ridiculous. I get that it may end up with a better, cheaper product, as is often the case when you do it yourself. Comparing that to a can that requires no effort feels way off base though.
