In this case the pic of the back of the box on the Amazon listing shows China/Vietnam as COO.
The popular version of the 232pc (80949)[homedepot.com] gave you racheting endwrenches and 90 tooth softgrip ratchets in exchange for skipping the 1/2" drive ratchet and sockets.
This version (GW72LLCBMTS) gives you 72 tooth ratchets, nonratcheting 12point wreches and no 1/2" drive hence the cheap price.
The 243pc all 6point set (80966)[homedepot.com] has a much better selection of tools but does not go on sale as often or as cheap as the less desirable sets.
