Anyone have any experience with this? I've never owned a crock pot or similar, some easy recipes have been popping up in my feeds and I've been considering getting one. I own other ninja appliances already. Is this a good first unit?

I have the other version of their possible cooker (the one with more functions) and use it pretty often, love it. Not sure about this unit specifically but I'm sure it works just as well. Just slow cooked a roast and veggies in it yesterday.

Just like DealDaddy I have the other version of the Possible Cooker and we love it. It cooks very fast and evenly. Its really good at searing meat so we tend to fry our steak in it.
The only thing it's not good at (just like any other crock pot style cooker) is pasta because it just makes it mush.
I bought mine at $89 (I think) which was a really good deal over the $150 standard price. I'm not sure the differences with my model and this one but it seems like a similar deal.

I don't think how tall the family is matters for this slow cooker. I'm 6'1 and it's still perfect for my family

Yeah they would have to be small to fit in there.

Does this get hot enough to fry? Looks like a good option to plug in outside and fry chick or fish or anything you don't want smelling up the house.

bought the 14 in 1, 8.5 qt model before thanksgiving @ target on sale for $95, including tax. making baby back ribs in it now. after 8 hrs on low, will sauce & put in oven to glaze under broiler

I really wouldn't want a smaller size. its rectangular vs oval shape. doesn't seem to take up as big of a footprint as large crockpot. surely looks much better on countertop as its sleek looking.

thus far used in heavy rotation; mostly crockpot, roasting & browning features. It works well for a big pots of soup & stew

have yet to have it stick vs crockpot, where i use cooking spray or liner & often still have a mess afterwards

far more lightweight than a crockpot. it's easy to clean, wipe it out with paper towels, then quick hand-wash and good to go

only minor issue is on top where the non stick liner meets the exterior finish, noticed its developed a few very small chips. my husband deemed them the sort you'd really have to look for to notice, true lol. time will
tell there
