I agree. In terms of "Amps per dollar" they are equal in value, but the 3000A offers better "Capacity per dollar". In short, the 6000A offers 34% more battery capacity (32k vs 23.8k mAh) but costs 100% more.
The 3000A unit can jump-start almost any consumer gas engine (up to 8.0L) and most light-duty diesels. Spending an extra $25 on the 6000A makes more sense if you plan on using it to charge devices when camping, in which case the extra 8,200mAh of capacity becomes useful. Or, if you own a heavy-duty truck (e.g., F350), or live in a very cold climate. In temps below -10°C (14°F), the effective power drops, so a 3000A unit might struggle to jump a large V8 engine in extreme cold conditions, whereas, the power overhead you get with the 6000A ensures it can still deliver about 600–800 cranking amps even when the internal lithium cells are freezing.
A lot of these amp ratings are meaningless and pulled straight out of their ass. There's no official standard and certification for these numbers so they all try to one up each other. I only trust actual testing from someone like Project Farm.
Notice how they rarely put CCA rating because that actually means something.

Honestly... that's not a big deal, but something I overlooked initially is that this is a jump starter only and does NOT include an air compressor adapter/functionality. I purchased a different model/brand in late 2025 which has both together and when I saw this deal jumped on it, not realizing this. I do find the convenience of both jump start and emergency air compressor combined to be much more practical.
For reference... I purchased a similarly spec'd NEXPOW for about $35 which included both a case and the air compressor adapter. Debating returning and holding out for a deal which includes both...
