I'm fairly certain it DOES come with a case, even though it's not listed in the product description. There are several reviews that mention a case and a picture of this product on Avapow' website shows a case. I'm going to buy it and simply return it if it doesn't have a case, but I can't imagine they wouldn't include a protective case.
I just got mine delivered.. and came with a case!

I agree. In terms of "Amps per dollar" they are equal in value, but the 3000A offers better "Capacity per dollar". In short, the 6000A offers 34% more battery capacity (32k vs 23.8k mAh) but costs 100% more.

The 3000A unit can jump-start almost any consumer gas engine (up to 8.0L) and most light-duty diesels. Spending an extra $25 on the 6000A makes more sense if you plan on using it to charge devices when camping, in which case the extra 8,200mAh of capacity becomes useful. Or, if you own a heavy-duty truck (e.g., F350), or live in a very cold climate. In temps below -10°C (14°F), the effective power drops, so a 3000A unit might struggle to jump a large V8 engine in extreme cold conditions, whereas, the power overhead you get with the 6000A ensures it can still deliver about 600–800 cranking amps even when the internal lithium cells are freezing.
Nice ad.
A lot of these amp ratings are meaningless and pulled straight out of their ass. There's no official standard and certification for these numbers so they all try to one up each other. I only trust actual testing from someone like Project Farm.
Notice how they rarely put CCA rating because that actually means something.

This is a small complaint but I wish this had a digital display to show the battery power level instead of just the four LED hash marks. I ordered one anyway. Thanks to the OP for the posting.

Lucky. Mine did not come with a case. It also does not have a boost/override type button on the cable assembly, so I'm wondering if it will work to start an EV if the 12v battery is dead. From what I've read some sort of manual override is usually necessary.

Mine was also just delivered and without a case included.

Honestly... that's not a big deal, but something I overlooked initially is that this is a jump starter only and does NOT include an air compressor adapter/functionality. I purchased a different model/brand in late 2025 which has both together and when I saw this deal jumped on it, not realizing this. I do find the convenience of both jump start and emergency air compressor combined to be much more practical.

For reference... I purchased a similarly spec'd NEXPOW for about $35 which included both a case and the air compressor adapter. Debating returning and holding out for a deal which includes both...

I believe the main reason they use Peak Amps instead of CCA for these lithium ion jump starters is because of how they deliver power differently than traditional lead-acid car batteries. A CCA test is a brutal 30-second endurance run at 0°F. If you tried that with a lithium-ion jump starter, the safety sensors would probably kick in and shut it down to prevent overheating. Instead, these units are rated for Peak Amps, which is that massive 1–3 second "initial punch" needed to get a dead engine turning. I suppose there's also a marketing factor (3000A sounds much more impressive than a 400–600 CCA equivalent)! :-) Regardless, 3000 Amps is roughly 4 to 6 times the initial punch of a standard car battery, which is why this unit can start most engines.

So if you intend to only use it for emergencies and care about longevity, I guess charge it to 3 out of 4 indicator lights and then just try to keep it out of extreme heat? Maybe use it to charge some phones every 3 months or so?

No case with mine. A bit surprised, since many of the reviews mentioned a case.

its better to have it and not need it, rather than need it and not have it and be stranded in the middle of the street.

Keep going back and forth on getting this. Can't seem to find it on Amazon to check reviews there. Not sure if it's an old discontinued model or what. Amazon does have the GooLoo on sale for about $60, so twice the price. Not sure if it's worth it for a potentially better product that I'd need in an emergency.
