I just spent a similar amount on a 9800x3d 9070xt build that surely wouldn't compete with this. That said, my build is in a fractal terra so completely different form factor / use case. Probably $200 in various upcharges playing into the form factor.

all of that is to say I think this is a good deal, especially if you dont want the hassel of finding an affordable 5080 which are hard to come by and then building it, which isn't for everyone

Got this same computer from best buy last week for $1949. I've been using it the last week and everything seems solid. Even at this higher price it's less than building it yourself with the current ram pricing.

Which was that? BB had an iBP with that CPU and GPU for 1650 like 2 weeks ago...
