Just FYI and YMMV of-course on your use-case but I bought a heavy-duty version of this at Northern Tool. Link below. It was around $80 or so after using a coupon and being on sale. While I agree with some of the reviewers that it can be awkward to pivot it actually works really well on stairs. We had a couple of refrigerators delivered and the delivery team liked it so much they used it instead of their own equipment. It also works great if you have a large door threshold as the wheels will walk over the threshold instead of rolling on top of it.

I've been waiting for this to drop $5, thanks
This is the kind of stuff that will keep me looking out for the next deal site to come along.

Just looking at the pics and I'd guess that 260# limit is the pretty generous.

I thought so too, it looks pretty flimsy.

They seem to make decent stuff but yeah, this seems like about par for the price and not sure I'd trust 260lbs on this

These devices are all the same, they are held together by thick molded plastic joints. I have a 2 wheeled model that advertised 120lbs and was 'highly rated', but at 65lbs the green plastic joints began to stress and fatigue.

Now, when the plastic eventually snaps or deforms, the load on these things on a floor will drop maybe 2-6 inches. But what if you're half-way up a stairway? Yeah. Just saying. Your Mileage May Vary.

At 120 lbs max for stairs, I'll just grab a friend.

What's a "friend"? Are they on sale?

I really do not understand how posts like this end up with the +18 deal score it now has. Flimsy dolly, critical parts made of plastic, with a 120-pound limit, not 260 (which is only on flat ground) for its touted stair-climbing feature, only $5 off the list price.

Makes me seriously question the value of using SlickDeals to find shopping bargains. No way this would have been posted on this site 20 years ago, but we constantly see this kind of "deal" now.

Makes me sad.

Yeah, roughly the cost of a box of pizza.
