If you're reading these words, then you probably already know about Allen Edmonds quality, even on Factory Seconds.
But if these are your first Allen Edmonds, don't impulse buy, because you need to know which Allen Edmonds shoe size you are. Allen Edmonds shoes are created using different lasts (feet shapes). Also, every manufacturer seems to have their own interpretations of what each shoe size is (in other words, just because you wear shoe size D10 in Nike/Adidas/Cole Haan doesn't mean that's your shoe size with Allen Edmonds).
Now some of you (especially younger shoppers) might think to just buy multiple sizes online and then return all but 1. But keep in mind that there is a $25 restocking fee on Factory Second returns[shoebank.com]. Therefore, do not buy if you are unsure about your shoe size.

I wear sizes 11 to 12 on pretty much everything. Bought some McAllisters and the size 10 is still like 2 sizes big for me. I have no idea how they size their shoes.
So definitely listen to this guy's(gal's) words. Also, recommend researching on quality. Allen Edmunds are not the same today.
