I couldn't either...got it down to about $2500 plus tax though. I'm not in the market but seems like a pretty decent price to me.

For those that don't know - you have to customize the system yourself, add to cart, and then search for the CloudX stinger and add it to cart to get to the discounted price shown.

. While that is true, the VRAM is really the reasons why everything is crazy expensive and this also has 64GB. I am gonna take a deeper look. I am in the market for a machine with a decent RTX and 5090 desktop is all $3500 (and lacking regular RAM also)

EDIT: I spoke too soon, Google seems to say some basic info

Z-Image Turbo (Mobile 5090 24GB) is slow as a dog compared to desktop ver. "Core Count Gap: The RTX 5090 Mobile is not the same chip as the desktop version. It features 10,496 CUDA cores vs. the Desktop 5090's 21,760 cores [6]. It is effectively a "Desktop 5080" class chip drastically power-limited to fit in a laptop." Never really in the PC Market so I am getting educated a bit now. Smilie ty

Configured it down to $2274.40. before tax.

I did add the gaming headset manually via search as suggested. Just to confirm what I selected for those who seems to be at $2588.

So temping.

Cheapest since last June at least (but that one didn't include the OLED).

Got it for $2275 after tax, the headphones sold out while I was placing the order, so I added the backpack instead. You have to select an accessory on the first page before going and customizing the laptop then adding to cart.

Edit: Also, don't log into an account with a business/edu relationship, or it'll adjust the price (at least it did for me and I had to start over).

This looks like an excellent deal for anyone who needs a portable high performance productivity machine (or wants a gaming laptop and has a huge budget). You need to add an accessory to cart to get the additional discount, it looks like the headset the OP listed is oos. The cheapest one that hp pops up to add to your laptop on the page after customization is the "HP 150 Wired Mouse and Keyboard" for $17.99; but if you search the hp store the cheapest is the "HP DisplayPort to HDMI True 4K Adapter" for $11.99. I'd personally recommend upgrading the networking card to "intel wifi 7" instead of wifi 6e for $10 more. With the upgraded wifi 7 and the displayport to hdmi adapter the total for me in cart before tax is $2,263.06, cheaper than the OPs' price and with better wifi.

My 5080 model ran really hot and throttled... I can only imagine this is worse in the same chassis

Gotta add the headset... makes a big difference in price reduction for some reason. You also have to have this exact build. I went with the cheaper SSD at 512gb since I have plenty of SSD storage and the price was higher.

I was able to duplicate this price. However, when I went to checkout, it knocked my coupon code off and now the promo code is not applicable.

Something's wrong with their buggy-a$$ site.

Is it really expired? I think people are marking it since they are not adding an accessory or the headset sold out. Even a mousepad or DP to HDMI adapter works.
