FYI to people that might not know - There has been a run of people getting tampered with boxes on Amazon, they will open the packs and weigh them and keep the heavy packs because they have the foil money cards and put the light ones back, and just return the box

These have all been checked to ensure they had originally shipped with rare foils per the manufacturer specifications by Amazon's volunteer expert trading card game appraisers and resealed with military-grade adhesive to return the items to factory condition for your convenience. You won't even be able to tell the difference!

Buy with confidence. No refunds.

These can be bought cheaper on forg and fire for $125 without the likely risk that it will come pre-opened that only Amazon can provide

Crazy what it has come to. I don't follow collecting cards now, but when I was a kid I would play Magic and have a few decks. It's gotten so popular again.

Yeah trading cards (magic and pokemon in particular) are treated more as securities now instead of game pieces.

Every pack has foil cards in them. And usually the foil cards in play boosters aren't rare. They might be resealed, but this ain't Pokémon and these aren't collector boosters.

"people that might not know" - i think you are a little mislead on this, modern mtg packs dont really have a weight difference, same as pokemon with the exception of the ultra rare case a god pack.

These items are all final sale, so if the open/reseal/replace is actually happening, it's taking place at the warehouse. Amazon specifically adopted this no-return policy for all trading card related goods precisely because people kept committing fraud.

For reference you cannot pull full holo art characters from this, they will be full art but not holo. Those are in the collectors edition.

I would recommend fire and forge gaming. Its roughly the same price after shipping and the boxes I received were not tampered and managed to pull some high value cards. They made front page a couple months back so just search for them. If this is being fulfilled by amazon...good luck.

I haven't collected MTG since the 90's, and sold everything or gave away when I was a kid. FF and MTG hit childhood nostalgia. Can someone tell me if the box itself comes sealed? Will buying a few boxes and holding for years still create value like the old cards did?
