So, I have plenty of mugs. I'm thinking I'd rather get the top piece for coffee. My french press is iffy at best.

Any specific one people think is best?

I have this set and regularly use the bottom mug for all sorts of things like hot tea and ice cream. It's a very well built, insulated mug.
Yeti lids work in the Stanley mug but the Stanley lid doesn't not fit the yeti cup.

I have wanted to want this for so long. I have bought it once and returned but everytime I see it on sale I second guess. Overall, after reading many reviews and everything considered, if you like to camp but size and weight is not an issue, this might be for you. If you are making coffee at home, this is not for you. There are better options that do a better job.

If you see the price history, yes, this is a good time to buy. BUT, there really is only a specific person that would actually use this.

All that aside, man I love the look and idea of this!

Hario V60 is the go-to, it's not specifically made for camping and it's made out of ceramic. You can find plastic equivalents if you are wanting one for camping.

I forgot, we also have a Costa Rican wood chorreador. My stepdad uses one daily with a water kettle. I just don't want to leave it in the camper. I'll probably look at one that has a built-in filter so I don't have to worry about paper filters with mice.

Thats a good point, they probably could have managed that if the cup didn't have the handle. Not sure anyone would even care since the cup is insulated so the handle is mainly for looks.
