lol I wouldn't recommend eating it but to each there own. It's just convenient not to have to measure and poor a cup vs throw a pod in . I'm a single guy I do laundry once a week occasionally twice a week several times a year (season change/holiday,idk) this is a lot of detergent, several years worth. It is tempting it's a great price on an item that don't go on sale often.
If you want really clean clothes, liquid Tide detergents should be avoided because they don't contain enzymes such as lipase. Powder detergents only for me. Tide powder, Gain powder, Ariel powder and a few others have lipase.
