Wondering why it's separated like that?
Assuming the bench should support 850lb total since you're likely doing bench press as heaviest load on it, but what if the person weights 300lb and benched 400lb. Would it fail somewhere?
Be careful with these. I have that silver one and stopped using it after I read it

But that disposal doesn't happen often for me anyway. Still using a $45 bench along with a $150 4 post rack. Plus dozens of other pieces accumulated - trap bar, kettlebells, adjustable and fixed dumbbells, etc.

Does anyone have any better ideas on better affordable options instead? I currently have a basic bench and I don't have extra space to add a standalone machine.
