If looking to add a GPU, the highest wattage PSU you can put in this is a 500W L05757-800. About $50 on eBay for a generic, $100 for OEM. Two fan GPUs should fit - was able to install an Arc A750 in this case and run off the aforementioned power supply. Also, this unit does support Resizable BAR.

That intel storage driver which cant be disabled is a PAIN if you anything besides Win11. MS server and VMware being impossible for me. Even F6 drivers or loan in iso for esx i get nowhere.!

How does this compare to the setup below?
I purchased the following refurbished desktop for $200 (including tax) with a 1-year warranty from eBay:
HP S03-0133wb OmniDesk Slim Desktop
– Intel Core i3-14100 (3.5 GHz)
– Intel UHD Graphics
– 8 GB RAM
– 512 GB SSD
– Windows 11 Home
Would this be a good fit for a middle or high school student, including some Minecraft use? I'm planning to upgrade the RAM to 32 GB.

Once you upgrade the RAM, then I'd stick with your Intel Core i3-14100 (3.5 GHz) for a student.

for only $450 that's a pretty solid gaming desktop. The arc a750 is equivalent to about a 3060

Have Resizable Bar support been confirmed? I own a TP01-3003i with i5-12400, same generation, I cannot get Intel Arc B50 Pro to work.

I have a sister machine to this, the HP M01, and only paid $152 from Best Buy open box. For the $ I paid, it's a great machine and suprisingly fast. I would recommend something like this, as long as it's good enough on day 1, as upgrading is horrible, due to picky ram, no XMP support, no Rebar support and a very locked down bios. The hardware is as bad due to the 180w PSU that is also proprietry, so again, difficult to upgrade.

I had the same sister machine with i5-13400 and swapped in an HP 400w PSU and 1660ti I had from an older setup. Worked well for a while until I got the itch to build my own and upgrade my gpu. Solid setup but definitely not great for upgrading.

Thoughts on this non-certified 13th gen i5 13400 same memory & storage:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/26754471...101224.m-1

I have an i7 9700k that i'm planning on building a NAS with so the either the above or OP desktop will replace that machine. I have an AMD 6400 to pair with the HP which only uses motherboard power so the 180w PS is a non-issue. I expect the i5+6400 to fit my needs.

Doesn't the 9700K suck a lot of juice?
