You get digital backlit screen, auto ranging ac/dc, non-contact voltage, light, pos/neg leads, k-type thermocouple leads for temps in hard to reach spaces

Checks all the DIY, homeowner boxes. Everything else is just "extra" range or features you won't ever use. Keep it simple when it comes to electrical test equipment...your life may depend on it.

Wife is at the home depot that says 26 in stock. She's found the area where it looks like it's been cleaned out.

This was gone at the first store I tried, at the second they had probably 10-15 of them, and they were with all the other multmeters and it was marked with the clearance price.

The HF backlit-version clone is $25 at HF, but it's nice to get a brand name on a piece of gear once in a while. Can't have too many multimeters I guess!

My store apparently had 4. Site said it was in the electrical aisle in the same bay as the other multimeters, but after looking around, I saw a glimpse of it in the rack/shelf above. Not sure if there were actually 4 but was able to snag one after asking an employee to bring the step ladder. Thanks OP!

Well, HD website said had a bunch at local store. I went and clearance section and had zip. I went to electrical aisle and no mas. I picked up some discounted waterproof gloves with liners for under $3. I hope waterproof coating lasts for a bit.

The usual rack where it was displayed was cleaned out. However, I saw two boxes with the item number that matched sitting up top in the overstock shelf. I had to ask the employee to grab a ladder to get them. They had 27 according to the website last night. The inventory seems accurate. Maybe have to look above.

Yeah, second this. Was not able to find even though 40 were shown in stock. Employee looked at the upper storage bins where this was indicated as being located and a few other locations. No luck. Wasted trip.
