Reviewers either love it or hate it lol. It looks like it would be super uncomfortable.
Lmao also apparently it doesn't color-match the 8bitdo n-edition keyboard.

I have one. Use it for my pc I have connected to my TV for steam and epic games. It works great. Never had an issue with it. I grew up in the 80s and 90s so my wrist has mileage with mice like this.

I have both this and the upgraded one to match my 8bitdo nes keyboard and I can't use this one for long. Looks cool and is a nice extra mouse tho. Love my r8 mouse tho. Very comfortable

I have fond memories of playing the original NES growing up...but I don't have fond memories of the blisters those buttons used to leave on my thumb. Do I really want the same style of convex buttons to be on the mouse I click several hundred, if not several thousand times a day?

EDIT: Not on sale, but 8bitdo's other Retro Mouse seems like it would be the far more comfortable option:

The N30 one seems like pure novelty by comparison. It doesn't even have a mouse-wheel.

That was also my feeling. I've been shopping for deals on a vertical Logitech MX, so this definitely is off my menu.

I reckon it could be fun if someone had $20 to light on fire for a nerd-shelf trinket.

Yeah I mean it looks cool as hell I could see a collector wanting to own this thing that I don't know utilitarian it is. Lol

This looks far better suited to being a display piece than actually being something a person would choose to use every day.

I could see how a person of a certain age with a certain gaming history would be proudly sitting this on the shelf above their monitor alongside all their other collectibles.

this un-ergo looking shape brings back memories of early days Labtec / Logitech mice.

Hard to believe a company with tons of design experience making controllers produced this product.

Do people really play games with this thing? I never saw a D-pad on the side of a mouse!

Haha, we had an Olympics game and the sprinting involved mashing a and b repeatedly. My strategy was to slide my thumb back and forth. I left a fair amount of skin on that controller.
