It's just an "up to" 240W. There are no known devices which can pull 240W - in fact as I understand it, no one's even made the integrated circuit called a "USB PD controller" chip. Someone would have to invent that before someone else can invent a device that would use 240W.

However, 240W is part of the USB standard, so if anyone ever does make such a device, you'll be ready! More importantly, it will work great at <240W.

If you have a pen style solderer, they use a lot of watts through usb c. Mine is 130w and this would have a decent overhead.
