You're comparing Costco top tire gas against shitty Walmart gas... Lol

You are down voted because your experience is far from universal. I don't have a winco and have never seen a Walmart gas station lol

Winco is good but that not good. Plus Costco really sines on some of the organic stuff - almost similar prices as Winco non-organic. Generally quality of produce is better at Costco.

Costco is across the street from Walmart gas here, always same price.

I also don't like Costco and choose not to pay a fee to shop in a crowded warehouse and fight over parking.

Winco and other grocers easily match/beat prices... and I don't get stuck with three months supply of things.

But, I get it... Costco is a cult.. People will defend it like a family member. No shame in that, just not my thing,
Even if this were true, Costco treats their employees far better than any other big retailer out there. I'll support them for that alone - but even when something isn't 'on sale' at Costco, it's still typically a better price per oz and often better quality than what Walmart/Meijer/etc. carry. The only place that might beat Costco for grocery value somewhat often is Aldi.

Costco's Kirkland Signature products are big part of what keeps me a member. Among other things, you just can't get nuts cheaper anywhere else.

People also need to factor in possibly getting 2% back at Executive level and another 2% on Costco Visa card if they have it. Definitely adds up.
I was going to say something similar but I use other credit cards that give me 3% cash back at Costco like Venmo Visa. However, for the people who shop primarily at grocery stores, there are credit cards that give 5-6% cash back. So I get basically the same total cash back at Costco and grocery stores.

I am 99.99% certain you did your math wrong. If your math is 99.99% correct, there will be no Costco or BJ's, or Sam's club. It's not a subscription, it's a privilege, just like a golf club membership or Amazon Prime or Walmart+, to enjoy certain benefits the general public doesn't. I don't have a golf club membership because I don't need it, but I don't tell people it's worthless or against it. I don't even buy much meat products at Costco. I buy mostly fruits and vegetables, some eggs. Don't buy much dairy products or gasoline either for a family of 3 with one teen. We sometimes buy items for friends or nonprofit organizations. As others already mentioned, Costco not only sell groceries.
Costco membership itself goes on sale. Not really like golf membership which is 10k

Costco is cult if you know how to use it. Cheap but good quality clothes, bakery, specials. For bulk home items, if you use it there is no other better deal. Then there is gas and appliances free install. List goes on

Half of the items are vitamins and supplements. Bogus placebo trash that's a total money maker. Ugh!
yeah usually they deals on vitamins and supplements at the beginning of the year, probably due to new years resolutions haha

As much as I like Costco, they don't sell everything that I buy.I also buy groceries from Kroger, there is a particular item that Kroger has on a sale cycle that I regularly stock up on when it is on sale, Costco doesn't carry this item. This item is on sale usually every 6 weeks or so. I do stock up on one item at Costco that is only on sale once a year and it is drastically cheaper at Costco than anywhere else. I get a years worth of that item. I get other stuff at Costco too. But I only shop there about once a month. I'm seeing things in this sneak peek that are on my list.I'm not going miles out of my way to shop the different stores, Kroger is a half mile from my home Costco warehouse.
Are you trying to gatekeep these "items"? lol why you being so secretive

How I view shopping at Costco:
If I buy without coupon, I save about 10-20% compare to department stores/online
With coupon sale or clearance, I save 25-60%.
I usually don't shop for fruits and vegetables at Costco because my local farmers market stores are quite competitive with prices, but sometimes Costco wins because of quality.

I've had a lot of frozen soup dumplings, and the Mila are among the better ones. It's not going to beat going to a restaurant, but it's better than other brands and better than takeout (they don't travel well and have a narrow optimal window for eating after they've been cooked).
I honestly think Mila is pretty close to going to most dumpling restaurants. I've had better but compared to the restaurants actually near me I don't think I could tell the difference in a blind taste test. Having a bottle of the black vinegar at home is a must for making the sauce though.

I've seen at least 2 in Florida when I was going to school there. They just announced they're expanding it to 30+ states in 2025.
