About this book:
  • Research in psychology has revealed that our decisions are disrupted by an array of biases and irrationalities: We're overconfident. We seek out information that supports us and downplay information that doesn't. We get distracted by short-term emotions. When it comes to making choices, it seems, our brains are flawed instruments. Unfortunately, merely being aware of these shortcomings doesn't fix the problem, any more than knowing that we are nearsighted helps us to see. The real question is: How can we do better?

The untrained person is predictably horrible at performing Risk Decisions. Fortunately, at $1.99, it's a pretty low risk.

Good reviews on good reads. Wish it had a cheap audio narration add on. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15798078
Thanks for the post, the detailed synopsis of the first reviewer gave a great summation of some of the content. Having read Switch, I'll this one a go. Cheer!

My best stock tip to others is "DO EXACT THE OPPOSITE of what I do" Smilie

Example of my decision "May I should hang on to these Intel stock instead selling them and buy Nvidia, nah, they only make stuff for gamers".

What's a good e-reader these days that doesn't cost $250?I scratched my Kindle paperwhite screen but It lasted me a good 8+ years, I just wish it had a page turn button.
why not buy a basic kindle. Its 99 retail but you can get it for 20 percent off if you play the trade in game. (no need to complete the trade in). Or just hit second hand market
