Are the pros good for case fans? Seeing that they are super loud at like 40% even with a fan curve set
Depends on what your fan controller is capable of. They work great in mine set to 5% at idle. My case never gets hot enough for them to go over 40% anyway, but the only way you are going to get quieter fans pushing the same amount of air is by spending 3times more $. You may find specific RPM ranges generate more noise in a given case, but it is easy enough to adjust your fan curve to avoid it, or get some rubber grommets to help isolate vibration.
