Also with esim or renewals since no physical media is sent like the sim kit you can use a privacy.com virtual credit card (free) locked to $5 over the purchase price and 1 time usage and it authenticates to ANY address. This lets you pick a state with little or no taxes which saved me around $17 in 911 related fees. I just picked a random store in a random city of ohio if I remember right and only had like $2 in taxes and fees.

I have the 5GB plan that ends 7/25/26. I went to my account and clicked on "Recharge." It then allowed me to add 1 more year of service at this current price. Total was $50.58 for me

Current Plan | Month 6 of 12
Pro Plus 5 GB | 5.00 GB
Next Cycle starts on 27-Jan-2026 17:40:07

Upcoming Plan Pro Plus

How do you use your referral balance when trying to recharge? I am getting NOTE: Log in to your Infimobile My Account to redeem and use your Referral or Wallet balance. These balances can only be applied when you are signed in. even though I clicked the recharge button on the left sidebar when I was signed in.

Use caution. They have been porting my number for 2 days. It's been a day since my last carrier notified me they ported to them. Once your carrier ports your number your service with them ends. Infimobile claims to have phone help. I called, from a different line of course, and waited on hold as the next customer 5 times. After waiting on hold for a few minutes it forces you to leave a message. I have yet to get a call back, odd when I was the next customer every time. So I have no phone service while actually paying for service at two places. Glad it's not my main number. Great plan if you don't need actually phone need service. Email service just sends canned answers. Online help just says pending. An online check of my number confirms the change to Verizon service, it was previously on T-Mobile for years.
When people ask "What's the Catch?" things like these are the answer.

I tried to use referral credits to recharge as well. Despite having logged into my account before hitting the recharge link, I got the same error. They also have you enter your phone number again even though you've already logged in. I'm not going to recharge for a few months so I didn't worry about it, hopefully they'll fix the glitch, but I'm not banking on it happening soon.

I also had to spend 2+ hours trying to get the port to work properly. I had Red Pocket before, so had one poor customer service handing off to another. It kept having an error and each of them kept on blaming the other. I finally started a chat with CS from each company and just started telling each one what the other just said. That took a long time, but eventually worked out.

Yeah but now I have a Nevada number and to change it is $5

Honestly, that's something you should have considered ahead of time. I saved $19 in fees and taxes using ohio over my state. That easily covers a transfer fee but I didn't need that either since I give out my google voice # and forward that to whatever # I have at the time. That does require using google voice for text messages but I'm not a heavy texter. When doing a RENEWAL you save the money AND keep your current number which eliminates the issue.

Yeah, I was in a haste. I preferred physical sim to and didnt realize the fees in getting one afterwards. My taxes would not have been that bad either. I think there were around $10 so should have just used normal address, First time using this company. Might end up porting in a number from Visible.

Still working.

Tried Chrome and Edge, none of them worked.

Finally got through from FireFox.

Free shipping, have to pay tax though.

Got this, and porting took minutes. I ported from US Mobile. Another family member had used it for about a month before I ported over with no issues and I'd used their $18 500GB - 6 month trial last year, so I convinced my family members to make the switch.
Oh, fees et al came up to about $10 so this cost me $60 total. Still worth it as it cut my annual phone bill in half for more than double the monthly GB I used to get.,

With T-Mobile you can enable Hotspot on Androids by adding "DUN' or "dun" "Dun" to end of APN Type "default, supl, mms, dun" it will then use mobile data for tethering.

Can also use fast.t-mobile APN instead of MVNO
My apn shows as fast.t-mobile by default. I cant edit it. I can create a copy if I need to.

Thanks, I was curious why I got that one not an mvno specific one

I work with dual sims and I am going to give it a week to see if I port my number to Visible from Google Fi and then, Ill start using Infimobile as backup to Visible. Right now I have phone and text on Fi and data on Visible. I should have waited a month before signing up for Inimobile but I jumped the gun

For anybody that needs to buy a physical SIM Amazon has them for $2 and that's where they ship from anyway if you've ordered it from infimobile.
Is the idea, that I coulld buy the Esim from the infimobile deal, and then use this Physical SIM to actually activate it? I am wondering because of the shipping taking longer from Infimobile.

I'm trying to recharge on chrome with a privacy.com card and NV billing address. I'm also trying to redeem a referral balance that I've got. Not sure what the issue is. I'm on my 3rd month of the 5GB plan and trying to extend that for another year. Not sure if it's a problem with the address or a problem with trying to recharge another year of the same plan.

This is the error message I get:

Transaction Failed!

Could not complete payment. If your card was charged, you'll get a refund within next 3 working days.

Try Again
