The Dobyns KD743CB is an excellent crainkbait rod and this is a good price, but they've been under $100 (almost 50% off) several times on Amazon last year. I keep watching AMZ for more of these deals.

Thanks! I just bought the 1 piece 6'9" med/light with fast action. That is plenty enough of a rod for me. It's not a cat fish rod, but is great for casting smaller lures that I like to use. I have my doubts that it'll make it here in one piece though Frown The last rod I ordered was from Walmart, and shipping broke the tip off. I was able to exchange via a local Walmart though.

That pflueger is a small rod and reel combo. I have that model 25 size reel. It's excellent for brim fishing or even catching small bass! It sure is a lot of fun reeling in a decent sized fish on one of those! I mainly use it kayaking in small creeks.

Goodluck. Purchased for 49 at woot and saw several of the Kaden and other more expensive were cheaper on amazon though missed the sales.
Doesn't seem likely they will go back to the lows.
