Still haven't shipped my metals ordered a week ago, I wonder if they are having trouble keeping up.

I love golddddd!

Bought this yesterday for 5k flat.

Pro tip!

If you are selling silver and trading it to gold, like a lot of people are doing. Sell your silver to a shop for $5 or $6 back. Do not get the gold there. For a buffalo, they are 250+ premium plus maybe more if you use a CC.

Just give your silver to the shop, take the cash, and buy the gold from Costco for the CC savings and 2% reward.

Help me do the math on why this is a good deal when the spot price is $4850.

Won't I have to pay tax at Costco?

There's no sales tax in California for this but may depend on your state

I bought one last month and paid $4,316 after rewards
If you are a Executive member and use Costco CC to purchase, get 4% rewards.

I wouldn't consider this a proof for pricing purposes. Yes it's in plastic but it's not graded.

Buffalo bid is $4788 as I write this.

Not your quote! what the heck
Theyre $5200 to buy one at that very same link, and thats not including shipping and CC upcharge.

And, golds gone down $75 since this post. Its $5200 at your link. When this was posted, I am sure it was $5275.

None of that crap matters. The only thing is, try getting a buffalo for $5100 anywhere else. You cant.

And then factor in, 4% rewards (2% CC and 2% Costco reward) and you're talking 4750-4800 at Costco vs $5200+, probably $5300+ anywhere else.

My local coin shop is charging $5150 for buffalos, and only if you pay cash. Raw, unsealed.

They will adjust this price down soon, but this was and technically still is a great deal.
