Picture is a bit misleading. This is the Non-Touchscreen version. (but picture on site show what looks like a touchscreen icon on the bottom righthand corner).

Also, this one is the older model without the fingerprint reader.

So just be aware of what you are getting, this is not the new 17" Gram model that has shown up on Slickdeals a few times in the last few months. This is the old model. No touchscreen, no fingerprint reader, 16GB Ram, 512GB SSD.

it's actually not bad consider they specialize in refurbished/used items. They're actually fairly reputable in this space and has a large presence. My experience with them in the past was mixed however, but they did replace an item that was misrepresented so I have no hard feelings.

I actually think this laptop is a really good deal if you don't mind open box.

There have been several Slick Deals in that last couple months. New model, with touchscreen, fingerprint reader, 32GB, and 1TB SSD. Was $999 from Best Buy for a couple weeks after Black Friday. Then again was on a Flash Deal for $1,099 two weeks ago. Was like $850 from LG Direct. And when they were $999 at Best Buy, they had lots of Open Box Like New for like $800.

With the prices of SSD's and the soldiered RAM that can't be upgraded. Would be worth spending a few hundred more and getting 32GB and 1TB.

Very slick deal imo. I have a 12th gen intel 17" gram with only 8gb memory that I got for $500. a few years ago. Works great for me. I would buy this otherwise.
