1) No AM tuner (only FM)
2) No HDMI inputs or outputs (no video i/o for that matter)
3) Only does 2 speakers at a time
The fact that this "receiver" has to advertise there's a built-in DAC means it's more of an integrated amplifier than anything else!
This device is only for someone who does audio only or has a dedicated audio room. For the same price, you can get a real receiver like the RZ30!
1) people have been calling integrated amplifiers "receivers" for over 50 years, long before video switching was a thing.
2) this one actually does have an AM tuner, which is a weird flex anyway
3) the DAC in this unit is better than Onkyo he suggested
Don't bother feeding the onkyo fanboy troll he doesn't know what he is talking about.

You'll have to tell me what DAC is in the Icon A-50 to make your statement. As far as I can tell, they're both 32-bit 768kHz DACs and I'm just missing the DAC model for the Onkyo to compare DNR and THD+N.

First you the dogged receiver for not having AM radio, then when I pointed out it it does and the value is in the DAC you switched to a different more, more expensive Onkyo product without an AM radio. Now you are personally attacking me.
Let me know if you need help moving those goal posts.

Being called an "Onkyo fanboy" served as a source of humor at least.
