Ya but the modern version is a boring mom car SUV giving you adds for fast food, subscriptios to unlock all of your cars features, and reporting your driving metrics to your insurance company.

I also watched it as a kid and did a rewatch recently. It's absolutely terrible. Definitely not worth $34. Not sure if Knight Rider or Airwolf was worse.
