There was a similar deal to this a few years ago for $20-25 for Adidas running shoes, and I use them as my every day shoes, for basketball, at the gym, for everything, and they've lasted a long time! The bottom of the shoes are thick so it takes a long time to wear out. The insoles wore out and deteriorated first 😅 twice already actually. I'm on my 3rd pair of insoles, but these 'budget' Adidas shoes really last!
In for 1 so that I have a 2nd pair of every day shoes!

Adidas usually runs narrow and I usually wear extra wide shoes but surprisingly these particular adidas fit well! so they are wider than their usual regular shoes
Compared to asics are they as wide or wider? Any non wide shoe feels wrong now when I grew up with wide shoes. I don't check up on shoe deals often but these adidas look like one of the cheaper cheapest wide shoes available which is great for affordable cheap casual walking but not for running as others said.

on another note, another brands wider than asics and in the $50 price range? It seems wide shoes are a smaller more expensive market since they don't have economy of scale.

Rant
Assuming most people are born naturally wide feet, it's horrible how people's health is being destroyed by narrow shoes looking more "cool" at the expense of life long health. Wide shoes don't even look that bad, it's people judging each other creates this narrow feet problem.

I understand. Most adidas regular fit are narrow, i just took a chance on these cause these were so cheap and of course i knew i could return them for free, so i was willing to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised they are a lot wider than other Adidas regular shoes. They are wider than REGULAR asics that i have tried. But not as wide as the Wide/Extra wide Asics shoes

You are making a big assumption saying most people are born with wide feet. If that were true, what we call "wide" would be the norm. Shoe width is not based on looking "cool", but the distribution of narrow, standard, and wide feet among a given group of people. I, and most people, could not tell the difference between someone wearing medium width and wide width just by the looking at the shoes they are wearing, unless it's something like a EEEE.

Same here! I jumped on that deal as well. And similar to your experience, my insoles too deteriorated first! I have another complain: they were squeaky soles too! But oh boy, those served me well. Got enough compliments about the colorway and were plenty comfy as well. I guess they were just Duramo and not Duramo SL.

I've only worn Nike Air shoes until now, the kind with an air cushion in the middle of the sole.
However, the cushioning wasn't as good as it used to be.
So today I went to an Adidas store and tried on the Duramo SL 2, and the cushioning was better than the Nike Air.
Which is better, the Duramo SL or the Duramo SL 2?

Bought a recent Adidas deal:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/15760138...9a3ac80INT
for $24 on here. Shoes look great but made my toes sore on the sides of the toe box as it n arrows down. VL Court 3.0. I don't ever remember having bunions on my feet but now it feels like I do. Wore these 2 days in a row.
Weird thing is I have tons of pairs of Superstar II shoes (Which these VL Court 3.0 look almost exactly alike) and never have this problem of the toes getting sore, but for some reason these cause me pain.
