Get the ones with a single 18650 battery. These flashlights with 3 AAA batteries won't last long.

shouldn't the 3 Aaa battery and the 18650 battery fit these kind of flashlights, mine does cause both battery's are the same size.

based on the reviews : "You can replace the 3xAAA adapter with an 18500 (not 18650) for more Lumens and longer run time."

hard pass...

Considering this ends up costing $2.50 per flashlight and and comes with 12 batteries included. It's a pretty solid deal. I can keep a couple in my cars with the batteries installed. I don't use flashlights for hours at at time. So the obsession with 18500 (not 18650) is lost on me. I I doubt I would change the batteries more than every 3-4 years on most of these.

Someone posted a picture of the manual showing it takes an 18650 and has the plastic tubes

Bought one and will report back, should be here Tuesday.

I have a similar one with the 3 batteries and they don't last long but I don't use them as often so they last enough. But the built ins are better.

For anyone still worried, from a review with pictures showing the battery choices:

"Another feature I like is it's capability of using either 3 AAA batteries (holder included, batteries are not), or a single 18650 lithium battery (sleeve included, battery is not)."

This one specifically points out its aaa battery in the actual ad, and doesn't support rechargeable batteries. I did notice some reviews saying they've successfully used an 18650 in it so there's that. I asked rufus it it can use an 18650. and this is what rufus said.

No, the RECHOO LED Flashlights 4 Pack uses 3 AAA batteries per flashlight, not 18650 lithium batteries. The product comes with 12 AAA batteries included (3 for each of the 4 flashlights).
If you need flashlights that work with 18650 batteries, I can help you find alternatives designed specifically for that battery type.

For what its worth about it taking 18650 batteries, one reviewer said this "I may have to get a machinist to make a deeper end cap to accommodate 18650 batteries" and another said this "You can replace the 3xAAA adapter with an 18500 (not 18650) for more Lumens and longer run time"
