These can drive almost any tool at full power. Roughly equal to a 6ah cell battery but with much less run time.

Beware that these do not ring up 99.99 in-store but luckily got them to price match the online price. YMWV

I tried this on the Woot app and they sent me batteries from 2021 and these only have a shelflife of two years without being used or recharged. I swear if this store ships me five-year-old batteries I'm going to lose it!

I picked up a drill/driver brushless set with 2aH regular batteries during the holiday sales. Just trying to understand Powerstacks, I presume these are more compact or lighter with the same or better power delivery than the regular 2aH DeWalt batteries?

i have bought quite few of Powerstacks lately (moving away from XR) and i have seen them brand new packaged with 2023 or even 2022 stamped on the box and battery itself so now im buying PowerPacks because these are so new from Dewalt they are all 2025 lol

They give you a much more linear power delivery, like it is pretty much full power till it empties. The regular batteries tend to start out full power but drop off as the battery gets lower.

These use pouch style batteries, which probably will not be as durable, but they are good batteries. Watch for the 4AH PowerPack batteries on sale. Tabless in a pretty compact case. I have 2 and use them more than any of my other batteries. I even use them on my Milwaukee track saw (with adapter).

What is better: PowerSTACK or PowerPACK. Side note, stupid and confusing names dewalt has.

1.7Ah not worth it. $60 would be a good price.
