I don't believe these have the green tint issues that exist on the extended FOTR blurays.

I have the 4k special edition Indiana Jones movies as well. The steel books. Still sealed. I think I'll be selling those as they are worth quite a lot. And going back to 1080p on all of my movie collection. I have had a 4k player and a few movies, but I had not yet replaced my 1080p tv as it still worked fine. I played them at a relatives house. Not a fan. Movies can really be "too clear". Then everything is very noticeable. Kind of like the old "soap opera effect on some tvs years ago. I never really found out what caused that. Okay, my 4k rant is over. Sorry.
Not all 4k picture transfers are the same.
A 4k player will play BR disc, they actually upscale the picture to 4k which regularly is very good.
At the very least, much better than 1080p.
You're forgetting to other half of a movie experience.... audio.
Not many BR disc offer the upgraded object based soundtracks.
Would be a moot point if you're using the popular option of a soundbar.
Imo you're missing out on the better half of the movie experience.
