Amazon Prime membership not refunding correct amount when canceled

I canceled my prime membership about 2 weeks ago. I checked my credit card statement and was charged $150 and change. The amount I was refunded was $138 and change. I reached out to Amazon, it took about 10 minutes and they said this was a system error and they were putting in a priority ticket for it since I was refunded the incorrect amount. The amount I was refunded was even less than the pre-tax price, so I'm not sure what's going on A week later.I have yet to be refunded the correct amount

This is my very first post, and just wanted to let people know if they canceled their prime membership recently to check to make sure they got refunded the correct amount because I was shorted over $10 on my refund

My post says I cancelled 2 weeks ago for prime, early January. I renewed about 3 weeks ago.
It was not even correct pre tax amount for the refund and as I said in the post Amazon admitted this was an error on their systems part for giving an incorrect refund amount

So you had renewed only a week before you canceled. Got it.

You need to do a follow-up chat and refer them to the prior chat notes. Report back!

I called them again today. They had me on hold for 20 minutes as I have yet to receive the rest of the refund back.

They use the excuse that I used my prime membership between the time I canceled and renewed, which was about 10 minutes and is false. They were quoting that I use which 60 something times and music and other things, although those are probably statistics over the year, not just between the time I canceled and renewed.

I can tell this is BS, because the previous sales rep did not tell me any of this and promise me a refund. This sales rep also had me wait 20 minutes while they were trying to figure out what was going on, so I don't believe this

Confused, They now deny you any more back, and you gave up and left it at that? Or are you going to follow up again with a different rep?

Yeah I had to ask a few times to understand it was because I used it between time I canceled and renewed, which I think that's right but not 100 percent sure still.
