Just an FYI, I don't know if this is just a thing now with instant hot bidets (I came from an older Bio Bidet) but the seat makes all kinds of noises after sitting and standing back up even if you don't use the bidet itself. You can disable the bowl spray, but it still purges when you sit. You can disable the automatic deodorizer, but the fan will run at a very low speed for about 15 minutes after you stand back up (it's barely audible but if the bidet is in a master suite and you're sensitive to noise at night you may hear it). It also makes several open/close valve noises and then extends the wand and does nothing, then retracts about two minutes after you stand (again, even if you don't use any of the bidet features). I found this highly annoying (admittedly I have OCD and noises tend to cause me to fixate). Even more annoying is Toto customer service was unable to tell me if any of these noises or behaviors were normal, and suggested I send it in for diagnostics (and purchase a seat in the meantime) when it turns out they are (a friend purchased the same S2 and it does all the same little weird noises and whatnot).
Does this matter to most people? Doubtful. If you're water conscious it is a bit annoying that it purges every time it detects occupancy on the seat. Also, using the restroom at 2am in your master suite is no longer going to be as quiet or stealthy as it used to be.
Aside from the above, we love this bidet. It does it's job well.
